Lujong Yoga Class Print

YogaInaugural Lujong Yoga Class taught by Khenpo Ngawang Dorje

This inaugural section will run for 4 weeks beginning Monday - October 3, 2011. Lujong is a form of body yoga of the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition. Whilst there are many varieties of yoga practiced these days, lujong is a Tibetan-style yoga whose aim is to balance the body-mind connection of the individual thereby bringing about homeostasis.

Traditionally, yogas from Tibetan tantra are usually taught only to a select few individuals. In an effort to help alleviate the stresses and strains of modern daily life, Khenpo Rinpoche will select from the Kalachakra Tantra, a variety of simple fundamental yogic exercises which can be performed and enjoyed by people of all ages, non-buddhists and buddhists alike; to help restore and/or maintain one’s own health, suppleness of body and mind, and equilibrium in one’s life.

All are welcome to attend these transformative yogic teachings generously offered for the first time by a highly accomplished tantric master of the Jonang Kalachakra Tradition.

No prerequisites are required. Buddhists and non-Buddhists are warmly invited. Children older than 10 years of age are also welcome to attend.
