Tashi Choeling Buddhist Center is Central Virginia's premier Tibetan temple.
It was founded by Abbot Khenpo Ngawang Dorjee on May 27, 2007 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The purpose of this center is to teach Buddhist principles and meditation without focusing on a particular sect.
In addition, the center will teach Tibetan culture with a primary focus on Tibetan language and Tantra Yoga (Kalachakra).
Tibetan astrology reading and protective amulets (trung khor) are offered at request.
This center is registered as a not-for-profit organization.
